Where To Get A Police Check in Australia?
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Have you been asked for a police check by a prospective employer but aren’t sure where to get one?
More and more businesses and organisations require police checks before a prospective candidate starts employment.
A police check (also known as Police criminal history records) is an authorised record issued by Police authorities. It allows prospective employers or specific organisations to review criminal record information as part of their background check and see if an individual has pending charges against their name or was convicted of certain criminal acts or offences in Australia.
So, to help you navigate the police check process, we’ve detailed below why, how and where to apply for your police check.
Why Do I Need A Police Check?
Employment
One of the most common reasons for needing a police check is for prospective employers. They’re usually a precaution to reduce the risks of theft or fraud. Also, in some specific industries where employees are in contact with vulnerable people, such as the disability or the childcare sector, police checks are vital as they allow employers to rule out past offenders.
Visa Application
If you’re applying for an Australian visa, you’ll need to provide a police check as part of the application process.
Adoption
If you’re asking for guardianship of a child living abroad, you’ll be required to provide a police check. This is done to keep the child safe from anyone who could potentially be a threat to them.
